We recently held our third annual High Speed Rail Group Apprenticeship Conference, this year hosted by BBVS JV at HS2’s Old Oak Common. The event provided a great opportunity for our apprentices to share their experiences from across the rail industry and make connections with senior industry leaders.
Key highlights included:
- a panel session outlining how BBVS is using their membership of the 5% Club to create and improve opportunities across the business.
- an interactive workshop led by Network Rail looking at rail network capacity challenges.
- an apprentice led panel session on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in rail and construction.
- a specialist workshop led by our members Jacobs on the impact of and how to best harness AI.
- small group mentoring sessions supported by senior representatives from within our membership.
